William Mize is an artist who constantly reinvents himself; he changes his work without losing his essential artistic style. The symbolic use of houses, fences, and other traces of humanity on bold areas of color still fill Mize’s compositions, but his new work includes a glimpse at new figures, the family, and a nostalgic sense of the artist’s past mixed in with his current observations and the possibilities of the future.
Also on view will be the work of three gallery artists: Bob Landstrom, Erik Gonzales and Kenneth Procter.
